Arrival Delhi – Overnight Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Transfer to hotel and check in. If time permits, do some local sightseeing in Delhi. Overnight at Delhi.
Delhi Local Sightseeing
Morning city tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana – the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Afternoon visit India Gate (War Memorial Arch.), Lakshminarayan Temple – a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President’s House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Delhi to Agra – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer from Delhi to Agra. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Begin your sightseeing tour by visiting the world-famous Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. Next, explore the Agra Fort, which houses the Pearl Mosque and the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also, visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah, built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Agra to Fatehpursikri via Jaipur
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and depart for Jaipur, making a stop at Fatehpur Sikri along the way. In Jaipur, drive past the iconic Hawa Mahal and explore the charming pink rose residential and business areas. Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Jaipur Local sightseeing
In the morning, visit Amber Fort, enjoying an elephant ride to the main entrance (available at an extra cost and subject to availability). Amber Fort was once the ancient capital of the state. Jaipur to Udaipur transfer
After breakfast and hotel check-out, depart for Udaipur. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Udaipur, known as ‘the city of lakes,’ is renowned for its enchanting palaces, serene lakes, beautiful temples, and lush gardens, among other attractions. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
Udaipur Local Sightseeing
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a morning city sightseeing tour. Founded in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh, Udaipur has been acclaimed as the most romantic city in India by Colonel James Todd. Key attractions include the City Palace, featuring intricately carved balconies, arches, and decorated pillars; Zenana Mahal; Fateh Prakash; Durbar Hall; and Shambhu Niwas. Also visit Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-ki-Bari, the queen’s garden retreat. In the evening, take a motor launch cruise (cruise ride not included) on the tranquil waters of Lake Pichola and enjoy the picturesque sunset. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Udaipur to Pushkar via Ajmer Sharif
Drive to Pushkar in the morning, stopping en route at Ajmer to visit the Dargah Sharif. Continue to Pushkar and check into your hotel. Pushkar is renowned for the Brahma Temple, built in the 14th century and situated on a high platform near Pushkar Lake. It is the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, the Creator of the Universe. While Pushkar is a significant pilgrimage city with over 500 temples and ghats, it is also famous for its annual Camel Fair held in October/November. Explore the temples and enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Pushkar to Delhi
Early morning drive to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. Overnight stay in Delhi. The distance from Pushkar to Delhi is approximately 400 km, with a road journey of around 8 hours.
Delhi – Local Sightseeing – Departure>
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Visit Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, and the Lotus Temple (closed on Mondays). Proceed to Delhi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
